Captured ship: Aiglon (master Honoré Jaubert).
Capture history: a French merchant ship (goelette, 72 tons, 2 guns, 13 men) bound from Marseilles to Saint Domingue laden with wines, almonds etc; taken on 26 October 1781 about 14 leagues NNE of Majorca by the Irish privateer Fame of Dublin (Thomas Moore commanding), and brought into Leghorn [Livorno].
Intended voyage: from France to the Caribbean Islands.
