Captured ship: Age d'Or of Marseilles (master Pierre Mestre).
Capture history: a French merchant ship with a letter of marque (290 tons, 39 men, 18 named passengers) bound from St Pierre, Martinique to Marseilles, laden with sugar, coffee, cotton, cocoa, hides and cassia fistula; taken on 3 March 1780 in latitude 35°N, longitude 10°30'W of Paris by the privateer Dart (Daniel Yeoman commanding), and brought into Dartmouth.
Intended voyage: from the Caribbean Islands to France.
