Crime: Breaking into the Bank of St Neots and stealing money, property of Messrs Foster and Co, Bankers, Cambridge.
Initial sentence: Transportation for life.
Gaoler's report: Character bad.
Annotated: Considering that he has been in exile since 1830, I think he may be pardoned, 4 April 1859.
Petitioner(s): Thomas Hollingshead, the prisoner. Eliza Hollingshead of Walworth, the prisoner's wife.
Grounds for clemency: The prisoner is innocent; arranged for money to be returned but duped by prosecutors into not providing effective defence.
