Captured ship: Isabella (master Thomas Smith).
History: an English ship, laden with oak plank; taken on 10 October 1799 off Dungeness [by the French privateers L'Espiegle and Succes; retaken off Boulogne two hours later by HMS Ann armed cutter (Richard Young commanding), and brought into Ramsgate.
