Folio(s) 42. Letter from Henry Saunders, Clerk to the Guardians of the Kidderminster Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Board, regarding election of guardians. He lists two queries on which he seeks their advice. Firstly he cites a rateable property that is mainly woodland and whose joint owners live a considerable distance away making it impossible to leave voting forms. Will their votes be lost? Secondly he asks whether owners still resident in the same property that were registered in the year 1838 and complying with 7&8 Vic c 101 s 15 are eligible to vote in the ensuing election of guardians.Paper Number: 12614/1850.
