Folio(s) 30-31. Letter from Henry Saunders, Clerk to the Guardians of the Kidderminster Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Board, regarding the medical officer for Bewdley. He advises that William Eggington Thompson, Medical Officer, has left the neighbourhood and therefore there is no medical officer. The guardians have passed a resolution to determine his contract and seek approval. A copy of part of the contract is enclosed.Part copy of a contract between William Eggington Thompson and 'The Guardians of the Poor of Kidderminster Union in Worcester, Stafford and Salop'. To resign it requires him to give thirty days notice in writing.
Annotated: write to William Thompson saying that the Board propose to consent to the termination.
