Case Reference: Lady Mary Howard, 8 December 1647.

Description: [seq 287; folio 119] Petition [9 December 1647] of Mary Howard, wife of Sir Francis Howard, for one fifth part of her husband's sequestrated estates in Cumberland, Westmoreland and Durham, for her maintenance and that of their seven children: Francis, Henry, Thomas, Margaret, Alethea, Katheryne and Anne.

[seq 289] Petition [8 December 1647] of Mary Howard for some means of subsistence, her husband, who is 60 years old and growing sickly, being a prisoner in the Tower, and she confined in Carlisle with her seven children.
