Case Reference: Elizabeth Doughty, 12 May 1647.

Description: [seq 226; folio 93] Copy of petition of Elizabeth Doughty, widow with two small children, late wife of John Doughty, one of the daughters and heiress of Robert Callis, Serjeant-at-Law. Before his death, her husband's estate in Colne in Lancashire was sequestrated for delinquency; she now petitions for the sequestration to be discharged.

[seq 228; folio 94] Order, 12 May 1647, referring the case of Elizabeth Doughty to John Bradshaw.

[seq 230; folio 95] Bradshaw's report, 4 June 1647.

[seq 232; folio 96] Affidavit of Robert Hanson, 22 May 1647, relating to an indenture between Robert Callis (Serjeant-at-Law), Henry Doughty, John Doughty, Elizabeth Doughty and himself on the one part and George Anton and others on the other.
