Case Reference: Ellen Byrom, 9 April 1647.
Description: [seq 141; folio 61-65] Petition of Ellen Byrom, widow, whose husband's lands in Salford, Manchester and Ardwick in Lancashire were sequestrated when he fled to Chester, then in the King's hands. She now petitions to be granted dower of her late husband's lands, and to be allowed to pay a composition for some leases.
[seq 142; folio 62] Certificate of the Lancashire committee supporting the petition of Ellen Byrom, late wife of Adam Byrom of Salford. Signed: Raphe Asheton, Richard Shuttleworthe, John Starkie, Richard Haworth.
