Case Reference: Wigston's Hospital, 13 February 1646.
Description: Copy of petition of the chaplains and poor of the hospital of William Wigston in Leicester, concerning a dispute between William Chillingworth, Master of the hospital, and Samuel Clarke, son and heir of the late Dr Samuel Clarke, late Master, over title to the tithes of corn and grain from the Southfields of Leicester. Both men having been declared delinquents, the tithes have been sequestrated.
