Folio Range: [seq 219-226; folios 93-95].

Case Reference: Anthony Hinton, 22 September 1645.

Description: [seq 221; folio 93] Petition of Anthony Hinton, that he be given back the use of the manor of Emley, Yorkshire, leased to him for the sum of £400, in indentures dated 4 December 1641, for 60 years, by Sir William Savile, now deceased, baronet, whose lands have since been sequestrated, or that he be given the value of its rent.

[seq 223; folio 94] Affidavit, 29 September 1645, of Anthony Hinton, giving the details of the indenture.

[seq 225; folio 95] Order, 22 September 1645, referring the case to John Bradshaw. Confirmation, 6 October 1645, by Bradshaw that the case is as stated, and that the sequestered lands are of far greater report than their yearly rent.
