Case Reference: Charles Howard, 12 Nov 1645.

Description: [seq 62; folio 25] Petition of Charles Howard, 16 years old, His Majesty's ward now in the custody of William, Viscount Say and Seal, Master of the Court of Wards, that, since he was a minor and kept in the king's quarters by his uncle and his uncle's friends until shipwrecked and captured, he should have his sequestration taken off.
