Case Reference: Benedict Hall, 14 July 1647.

Description: [seq 38-39; folio 16] Petition, 14 July 1647, of Benedict Hall esquire, recusant.

[seq 40-41; folio 17] Petition [23 Feb 1647] of Ann Hall, wife of Benedict Hall, that the Monmouthshire committee examine those not deposed under last order of 24 November 1646.

[seq 42-43; folio 18] Copy of an order, 24 September 1647, by the Buckinghamshire committee sitting at Aylesbury, devising two-thirds of lands in Neyther Winchindon [Nether Winchindon, Buckinghamshire], sequestrated for delinquency of Benedict Hall, to Mr John Irons of Noke, Oxfordshire, for one year.

[seq 44-45; folio 19] Order, 1 October 1646, of the Gloucestershire and Hereford committee that Colonel Robert Kyrle hand over an iron furnace detained from Benedict Hall esquire, and to appear before the committee.

[seq 46-47; folio 20] Petition of Ann Hall, wife of Benedict Hall esquire, and their 12 children, that Colonel Robert Kyrle and Captain John Braine hand back the iron furnace presently rented to Edward Barker who pays two-thirds to the state and one-third for Ann Hall's maintenance.

[seq 48-49; folio 21] Petition of Ann Hall, 4 December 1646, that her husband contributed to the Parliamentary cause but was sequestrated by the Monmouthshire committee. [damage].

[seq 50-53; folio 22] Copy of same petition, 4 December 1646. [damage].

[seq 54-55; folio 23] Copy of same petition, dated 24 November 1646.

[seq 56-57; folio 24] Petition of Ann Hall, 10 July 1646, that her husband was sequestrated for recusancy and voluntarily contributed £2000 to Parliament and that a third of his estate by law still belongs to him.
