Folio Range: [seq 10-15; folios 3-6].

Case Reference: Sir Simon Every (knight and baronet deceased) of Derbyshire, and Sir Henry Every (son and heir), 3 December 1645.

Description: [seq 12-13; folios 3-4] Order, 14 May 1652, from the Barons of the Exchequer, commissioners of appeal in cases of sequestration, in response to an appeal from Sir Henry Every concerning the estate of his late father, Sir Simon Every, a delinquent, that the Commissioners of Haberdashers' Hall certify whether any part of Sir Simon's estate was sequestered as suggested by the Committee for the Advance of Money. Signed John Wilde, Francis Thorpe. Endorsed: answered 21 May 1652.

[seq 14-15; folios 5-6] Copy of judgement, 13 February 1653, from Barons of the Exchequer, regarding estate of Sir Henry Every sequestered owing to delinquency of his late father, Sir Simon, that there is insufficient evidence to charge him. Note stating the case was heard 13 February 1652 but judgement not given till 19 May 1652. Signed John Wilde, Francis Thorpe.
