Sent by Sir Claude M MacDonald, the British Embassy, Tokyo, 24/04/1906.
Transmits copy of note to Japanese Government, 21 March 1906 requesting information as to regulations for protection of seal life in newly acquired Japanese islands; suggests that Japanese Government might be more likely to fall in with views of His Majesty's Government now than later on.
