Sent by Sir John L Harrington, the British Legation, Adis Ababa, 12/10/1906.

Doers not anticipate general rising or organised attack on Legation in event of death of Menelek, but local short lived disturbances; advises withdrawal of Legation and halting commerce until calm returns after Menelek's death.
