Description

Folios 36-45. Abyssinia: code 1, file 18102, paper 19676.

Sent by Lord Cromer, the British Agency and Consulate General, Cairo, 08/06/1906.

Transmits telegram from Sir John Harrington stressing the need for a plan to protect British subjects in the event of King Menelek's death; Lord Cromer believes Harrington should be given full discretion to act without reference to London.
