Sheerness Officers. Receipt of warrant to take the Rambler cutter on the Small slip to inspect and repair her instead of the Mooring lighters Nos: 1 and 2. They opine that, as she has lain in the mud, with little water, and after removing some of the copper sheets, all of the copper needs to be removed and re-nailed and the defects on her bottom repaired. This will delay the work on the Lighters, and propose to put the Rambler alongside the Wharf in the Mast pond until the order is received to repair her.
