Copy of the petition of Samuel Follett, Boatswain of the Prince of Orange hulk, Sheerness. In November 1783 he was told that Isaac Pennall, Master of the Sheerness longboat had, without his knowledge, been provisioned by the Chatham Victualling Office, for 2 men belonging to his hulk, the Prince of Orange, who had been lent to the Longboat No.1, for periods between 1778 and 1783 both of whom he had victualled. He had written to the Master Attendant and the Clerk of the Cheque asking to be repaid but he has received no reply. He includes a copy of the original letter.
