Myles Troughton, Sowley. Has sent cast iron ballast to Portsmouth Dock and has more ready at his furnace to complete his contract. If a warrant could be sent, he would ensure a similar quantity was made and kept in stock for delivery when wanted. Asks if any sort of castings are needed, for the molds to be sent as soon as possible as the furnace cannot be kept going for more than 2 months and it will take nearly 12 months to be ready for another blast.
