John Steventon, Clerk of the Cheque, Portsmouth. Receipt of 300 tickets. As far as he knows only the York is in need of them. He will supply them according to orders and send the captains' receipts. He presumes that had the men not been discharged they would have been continued according to the express received by Sir Robert Robinson last Monday. He has no money on the repairs account and needs money to pay the Caulkers.
