Commissioner Sir Richard Beach, Chatham. The Clerk of the Ropeyard has received a warrant to enter 11 more Ropemakers, but they only needed 4 and already have 3 and cannot employ more in wet weather. Mr Sliter and Mr Owen wish to know how to employ these men when it rains. Asks for money for paying board wages.
