Captain John Kirk, the Ruby. This afternoon the Monmouth and the Ruby were turning into the Hope when the Monmouth's main mast and yard broke. No-one was injured. He went on board the Monmouth and Captain Wetwang asked him to write to the Board as he did not have time. They are now at Gravesend with the Antelope and the Monmouth is about a mile below the Hope.
