Dispute over the territory of Jinini Gaman: transmits a copy of a report from Captain G W Clotworthy Soden, Officer Commanding British Gaman, who has led efforts to claim this area as British and not French territory; Governor approves of the action the Captain has taken in hoisting the British flag at Jinini and reports the 'energy and common sense' he has displayed on the frontier; transmits a copy of a sketch map and correspondence with Captain Benquey that accompanied Captain Soden's report.
