The Ancobra River: recommends the appointment of an experienced civil engineer for the work of clearing the river bed; notes the importance of the river as a waterway for trade and the necessity to clear it of impediments; transmits copies of letters which confirm that the river will still be used by the mines and timber trade, despite speculation that the Tarkwa Railway will supplant the river as the chief method of transport.
Sir Frederick Hodgson, Governor.
