Description

Concessions for Mr Alfred Lewis Jones and Mr Josiah Charlton: transmits deeds of further concessions submitted by Mr Patrick Augustin McCann; these have been obtained from Chief Jappa, one of the Upper Wassaw Chiefs, and from a Chief on the Northern side of the River Offin; encloses a letter from Acting Colonial Secretary, C Riby Williams, granting provisional recognition of these concessions subject to the approval of the Secretary of State.
