Robbery of box of specie from Mr Edwin Denby Rose Paull, Supervisor of Customs: reports circumstances and that £250 has been recovered from the Public Officers Guarantee Fund. Reluctantly recommends that the balance of the loss of £70 may be written off; transmits a copy of the notes of evidence given at the Supreme Court of the Gold Coast Colony in the Western Province of Axim; transmits copy of report made by Mr E D R Paull to the Acting Comptroller of Customs about the robbery.
