This record series was formerly the NIPF (Nationalised Industries Policy: Financing) and NIR (Nationalised Industries Remuneration) series (Nationalised Industry Economic Advice) prefix. It was closed in 1998. The primary functions of the division were around transport programmes and general policy on nationalised industries and privatisation.
