Description
Registry Number: UE 5684/86/77. Letter from Mr Playfair at the Treasury to Mr Turner about the inspection of industrial plants declared available for reparation, dated 19 November 1945. Encloses a draft SUGRA telegram regarding suggestion that the Final Act of the Paris Conference should contain a resolution 'that the Controlling Authorities be asked to give to representatives of claimant countries, to national delegates on IARA [Inter-Allied Reparations Agency] or to representatives of staff on IARA reasonable facilities of travel and access' for inspecting plants declared available for reparation. A copy of this letter was sent by Mr Playfair to Mr Coulson at the Foreign Office.
