Description
Letter from the Minister Plenipotentiary [signature illegible] to the Rt Hon Ernest Bevin, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, dated 14 August 1945, enclosing a note [in French] from the Luxemburg government submitting certain proposals for the identification and restitution of Luxemburg property removed by the enemy. Further includes a reply from Mr Coulson at the Foreign Office to Monsieur André Clasen, the Luxembourg Ambassador, about the urgency of the question of restitution and the interim measures under consideration by the Commander-in-Chief in the British Zone, dated 28 August 1945.
