The Transformers (Community Grants) Sub Group purpose was to make final decisions on 'Transformers' small grants. Transformers was a community grants scheme supported by Olympic Lottery funding and managed by the East London Business Alliance (ELBA). An ELBA Grants Committee considered all eligible applications for funding. The recommendations of the ELBA Grants Committee were referred to the OLD?s Transformers (Community Grants) Sub-Group.
The Sub Group: considered assessment reports and scores; considered the discussions and rationale supporting the recommendations of the ELBA Grants Committee; agreed which grant applications to fund and those to reject; and, were to be accountable to the OLD Board for decisions made.
