This series contains evidence, petitions and proceedings in connection with Bills presented to both Houses of Parliament. The volumes sometimes contain cases of several quite separate undertakings and many of them include in addition varied papers such as maps, plans, Bills in different stages, the final Act and other items which the Officers who bound them felt appropriate. These relate principally to railways but include a few concerning canals, docks, and tramways.
