First Act obtained 6th March 1793 (33 Geo III, cap.38), forming "Company of Proprietors of Warwick and Birmingham Canal Navigation". Second Act was obtained 24th March 1796, empowering Company to raise further capital for carrying on their work. Undertaking acquired by Grand Union Canal Company by act of 1928.
