Initial sentence: Nine months' imprisonment.
Annotated: Granted 19 April 1828; remission prepared April 1828.
Correspondence: Letter from The Mayor, five gentlemen and two Justices of the Peace recommending the convict to mercy and noting that she has conducted herself 'with exemplary diligence and good order' while confined and prevented the escape of a notorious house breaker. Recommendation to mitigation of the rest of her sentence from William Coe and A S Abbott Justices of the Peace. A note from G B White, Town Clerk, transferring the recommendation and noting that the convict was in prison eight weeks before her trial.
Additional Information: The convict was held in Cambridge Town Gaol.
