Prisoner name: Mary Ann Field.

Prisoner age: 19.

Prisoner occupation: Servant.

Court and date of trial: Old Bailey April Sessions 1828.

Crime: Larceny from Mr Adams - six silver spoons.

Initial sentence: Seven years' transportation.

Gaoler's report: Orderly, four indictments.

Annotated: Nil 2 May 1828.

Petitioner(s): James Field and Mary Ann Field, the convict's parents, with four character references from people of Knightsbridge, Middlesex.

Grounds for clemency: Previous good character; was led astray; tried too quickly to bring character witnesses; she feels contrition.
