Court and date of trial: Durham Lent Assizes 1828.
Crime: Larceny - stealing from the Reverend Crossthwaite of Houghton le Spring [Durham], two knives, a nightcap and a night gown.
Initial sentence: Seven years transportation.
Annotated: Report of Gaoler - before convicted of felony - therefore nil 9 April 1828.
Petitioner(s): The convict and 10 others including the prosecutor.
Grounds for clemency: She has two young children; has just delivered a still born child; is in a very weak state.
