Under London and North Western Railway (Whitehaven Railway Transfer) Act 16th July 1866, company was dissolved and vested in London & North Western Railway Company upon and from passing of act. London & North Western Railway Company was vested in London Midland & Scottish Railway Company under North Western, Midland and West Scottish Group Amalgamation Scheme 1922, dated 30th December 1922.
