Incorporated by act of 18th June 1842. Under London and Birmingham Railway Company's Act of 3rd April 1843, Warwick and Leamington Union Railway Company was transferred to and vested in London and Birmingham Railway. By act of 16th July 1846, London and Birmingham, Grand Junction and Manchester and Birmingham railway companies were consolidated to form London and North Western Railway Company, which company became vested in London Midland and Scottish Railway Company as from 1st January 1923 under North Western, Midland and West Scottish Group Amalgamation Scheme 1922 dated 30th December 1922.
