Incorporated by act of 29th July 1862. Under act of 29th June 1865 powers were obtained for Great Eastern and Midland railway companies to work line and a joint committee was set up for this purpose in July 1885. Under Midland Railway Act of 1902, undertaking was vested in Midland and Great Eastern railway companies as from 1st July 1902, line being managed by Tottenham and Hampstead Joint Committee. Last recorded minute is dated 12th November 1929.
