From 1984 to 1985 Accountancy, Finance and Audit Division was created under the Public Services, Accountancy Advice Group. From 1986 to 1989 the Division title changed to the Management Accounting Division. From 1990 to 1991 the title of the Group changed to Chief Accountancy Advisor and the Division title changed to Accounting Advice.
