Undertaking was leased to Great Northern Railway Company in perpetuity from 1st January 1894 under agreement dated 15th December 1893 scheduled to and confirmed by Great Northern Railway Act of 1894. Company was transferred to and absorbed by London and North Eastern Railway Company from 1st January 1923 under London and North Eastern Railway Absorption (No.1) Scheme 1923 dated 29th June 1923.
