Letter dated 16 July 1808 byThe Honourable Sir Alexander Cochrane KB Rear Admiral, HMS Belleisle, Carlisle Bay, Barbados, to Lieutenant George Pringle, HMS Belleisle. Dated 16 July 1808. Letter of appointment as Acting Captain of HMS Pultusk. Captain Charles John Napier of HMS Pultusk being removed to HMS Recruit, in the room of Captain Edward Woollcombe [Woolcombe] promoted to be Acting Captain of HMS Belleisle, Captain William Maude removed to HMS Ulysses; Captain Christopher John Williams Nesham removed to HMS Intrepid, Captain Richard Worsley Invalided.
