Folios 320-321: enclosure with folios 318-319:. Orders dated 2 September 1808 by Vice Admiral Sir James Saumarez Bart., HMS Victory, off Rogerswick to Philip Pipon, HMS Rose. Orders having appointed Captain Thomas Byam Martin to HMS Implacable to be First Captain of the Fleet during the absence of Captain Hope. Captain Philip Pipon appointed to HMS Implacable.
