Covering letter for the enclosed letter from William Thomas James - Purser of HMS Glomen [HMS Glommen] requesting to be allowed to draw His Necessary Money for a nominal Complement of One Hundred & Twenty One Men, the present Complement being only One Hundred. He requests his request be granted. being fully convinced that the expenses attended in fitting out this vessel with necessaries are equal to any of His Majesty's Sloops with a Complement of One Hundred & Twenty One Men.
