Folios 268-269: Charles Pickford, HMS Glomen [HMS Glommen], Chatham. Reports that Lieutenant Alexander W Dobbs who was appointed to HMS Glomen [HMS Glommen] has not joined. The Brig being ready for Sea and having no Master. Should they think fit to appoint another Lieutenant he requests that he be junior to Lieutenant Elmes Steele who is now on board.
