Folios 262-263: Robert Phillpot, Brighton. Reports that last Friday evening Lieutenant Stephen Ley Commanding the Signal Post at Hawk Hill [East of Brighton], was arrested and taken to Lewes by the Sherrif Officers for Debts. He waited to see if he could settling things but finds there is no probability of his being liberated - so as to return to his Duty.
