States Thomas Norman Carpenter's Mate on HMS Endymion having been recommended to him during 4 years in HMS Alligator and 5 years in HMS Endymion and considered as a fit person for His Majesty's Service as a Carpenter, having served an Apprenticeship as Shipwright on HMS Endymion and she having no Carpenter yet appointed. Requests Thomas Norman be appointed Carpenter of HMS Endymion.
