Description

Folios 511-512: D'Arcy Preston, Sea Fencibles, Whitby. Encloses a list of volunteers who entered yesterday. They are now uinder sal for L:eith. There are no more protected men there and the fishermen who would have volunteered are absent at the Yarmouth fishery.

Folios 513: enclosure with folios 511-512. List dated 24 September 1807 from D'Arcy Preston, Sea Fencibles, Whitby, of volunteers from Whitby to assist in bringing home the Danish fleet. List of 21 men giving names, qualities, and present employment.
