Folios 203-204: Joseph Pearce, HMS Vulture, Sheerness. Since HMS Vulture was commissioned 5 weeks ago, as a result of the Purser not joining, he has had to provide stores from his own money. The ship has 3 months' provisions on board without a proper person to take charge of them. Asks for a Purser to be appointed and to be ordered join as soon as possible.
