Description

Folios 184-185: Wiliam Peake, HMS Aetna, off Northfleet. Encloses a letter from his Boatswain asking to be remove into HMS Peacock. Recommends him.

Folios 186-187: enclosure with folios 184-185. Letter dated 5 March 1807 from Thomas Murray, HMS Aetna, Northfleet Hope, to William Peake, HMS Peacock, Chatham. He has served as Boatswain on board HMS Aetna since 11 January 1804 and can produce certificates from Captains Richard Thomas, John Quilliam and John Yode. Asks for his removal to go with him.
